How It Works
Home Test Kits
These test kits are shipped directly to your home, and do not require any lab visit.
Some kits provide "on-the-spot" test results, while other kits require that either a hair,
urine, or saliva sample be sent to the lab. Results are then mailed to your home.

These tests are performed at a licensed lab (see find a lab). Test results are then
sent to your home.

- Search our testing section for the lab test you desire. Detailed test descriptions
are provided. Call one of our counselors toll free (877-223-0102) if you have any questions.
Add your test to the shopping cart. Be sure to note any pre-testing requirements. Only a
few tests require any special pre-testing procedures, such as fasting (please see instructions
associated with each test).
- Choose a lab center near you by entering your zip code into our lab finder.
Choose the lab that is most convenient for you (please note lab hours and
location). In most cases no specific appointment time is needed to have a test
performed. Complete the confidential secure on-line check-out to pay for your
testing.
- Receive an email (or fax) with your test information, and lab requisition.
Please note lab hours, location and directions, and then proceed to your chosen
lab center for specimen draw.
- Once your test results are complete (24 to 48 hours on average, depending on the
complexity of the test), we will notify you by the method you have selected (either
US mail or email). Please note, LabTesting Direct does not provide counseling
on test results. If your test results are positive / abnormal, we advise that you
seek medical advice immediately.
